WRITING AN ESSAY

Living in a foreign country has its pros and its cons but even with its cons it is a great experience that everyone must have. There are a lots of reasons that make you think about going abroad such as the lenguage you will learn, friends, etc. If you do not know where to go or how to look for the trip, we will talk about it later.

When you go abroad you are going to know a new culture, new ways of life and also you will learn how to get on with them. Of course, you will know friends and with them you will find new places, not olny because of sightseen, but also because of parties. Then you will have the opportunity to achieve issues than you could never discover if you do not go to a foreign country.

If you have decided to go aboad you must think about the options you have. On the one hand, you can go for working, but you must dominate the lenguage that is spoken in the country. On the other hand you can go for studying a course so that you learn the lenguage and you also travel as a tourist. Finally, you can go just as a tourist and enjoy the country but, to afford that you need to earn money. 


To conclude,  travelling arround the world is an opportunity that, even it has its difficulties, it is worth it; not only because of the culture you will learn, but also because the improvement of the lenguage you will achieve.

THE STRUCTURE OF AN ESSAY- Thesis statement

If your parents get divorced, a new life comes to you: the way you think about love, your home economy and also your everyday life will change. These difficulties that children have to suffer from, are, unnecessary it parents got on well.

PROBLEM/SOLUTION - Composition

The fact that there are overcrowded classrooms not only affect students who are trying to learn, but also teacher that would like to teach in a comfortable way. Tere is a long list of problmes that this issue developes shus as the noise, reduced seats, less interation with partners and the teacher, etc. But every problem has its solution.

If there is a classroom in which there are a lot of students nothing productive will happen. The problmen that anoy the most is the noise. An overcrowded classroom is far more noisy than one tha its not; it can bring difficulties not only for listenning to the teacher, also for teaching and speaking fluently, without wasting time to call the atention of the students.

In order to solve this problem, there are some ideas that I propose such as: increase the number of teachers, or on the contrary , decrease the number of people in a classroom; for instance, in an interactive class, students could be divided in two parts to make easier the speaking part and to let the teacher answer all the questions.

To conclude, this is an issue that unfortunately everyone has suffered at least once in his or her life but what we have to do is not just detect the problem, we must solve ir with strategies and carefully, trying to do our best.

PROBLEM/SOLUTION PARAGRAPH

Smoking in public areas is a problem that not only affect non-smokers, also the smokers. It is forbbiden to smoke in restaurants and cafes, but what about terraces?  For me it is a problem to meet in a terrace and smoke in front of friends that do not smoke. There are lots of them that do not care about it but there are other that I have to respect to. This issue affects our friendship too much. In order to solve this trouble, smokers, including me, should go away from them and smoke pacefully without annoying anyone. Another solution is to give up smoking but in general it is more difficult than respecting. So, if smoking is an issue that maes trouble in your surrounding, take kare and try to do your best to solve it, because the problem is yours.

CONTRAST/COMPARATIVE PARAGRAPH - Advantages and disadvantages

Having a job while studying at the University has pros and cons. If you are studying and at the same time working, you won´t have too much time to prepare your exams perfectly, but you have to consider the point that you could earn money for travelling or for going out with friends without asking for money to your parents. On the contrary, going out is another disadvantage that jobs have, if you do both things at the same time you have to realise that your free time will be reduced. So, if you are thinking about studying and working simultaneously you should think aboyt this issues very carefully.

COMPARISON / CONTRAST PARAGRAPH - Comparison paragraph

Reading a real book is a bit more different from reading the same book in an IPad. Reading a book with its sheets, its smell, etc is usually more sensitive than reading it in an IPad because it seems less real, colder and without the same feelings that gives you a book. Nowadays is more often to read books in an IPad because of the money you have to spend in the book, or the time you lose when you go to buy them.  From my point of view, we do too much things by the Internet and reading should be something different and special. 

OPINION PARAGRAPH - Something you like the most and people don´t

Dancing is one of the best things I have ever discovered. It is a very well known activity but there aren´t enough people that practice it, sorry, I meant boys. I dance salsa, bachata, cha cha chá, etc, and all the girls I know, they have problems to look for a boy to dance with them. From my point of view, dancing is one of the best activities that you can do If you like people, having fun etc. That is why I don´t really understand why is it so difficult to find people for practicing that activity. 

OPINION PARAGRAPH - Describe something you consider important

A healthy life is, in my opinion, as important as money. Nowadays there are a lot of people that don´t take care of them and it is an issue that affect people all over the world. I agree with the fact that we are very busy because of our jobs, children etc, but  does it really worth? People, including myself, must think about it and change a bit their routines or include some daily exercise not only for being stronger but also for feeling better and hold out each day a bit more.

When I first came at the University I was scared about what I would find there: teachers, new friends... But then I realised that those fears didn´t have sense. My first day was strange but I had luck, I had already known people from my class. On my second day I got lost in the corridors because of a timetable problem and then the next days everything was right. I think I will have a really great time at the University.

I post it now and I smile. My first writing with all my fears but convinced that it will change and, of course it has change.  It sounds so far away but in real it was just a month ago. Is incredible the fast that the time goes.

Friends

Friendships are really important for everyone but also is something difficult to keep. My friend Cristina and I we met at the high school. We began really good friends; we got in touch very quickly. She is very kind and an intelligent person that is always trying to help you, and I’m a girl that needs a person like Cristina near me.  After summer, everything changed. She started in a new high school so after a few months our relationship was getting lost but not completely. Fortunately we still are being friends. The best thing about friendship is that if you find a real one you will keep it forever, even with the difficulties that it has.

My grand-daddy

Since I was a child my grandfather became my reference. I knew him like an old man who sitted down on the sofa just for watching tv, but then I discovered the reality of himself. My grandfather is a really kind person, he always takes care of all the family, trying to help everyone.  You just have to call him and he will be there for what you need. As he sais: '' I don´t want to form part of the furniture'' or '' I always feel like helping mines''.  While growing up  I was more and more interested in how is my grandfather, so I discovered amazing things about him like he is a great dancer as me or that he also loves travelling as me. Tu sum up, my grandfaher is the kind of person I would like to become one day.

It´s time to breath and think

Today is Auschwitz time.

Last year I made an exchange at school with Polish people. We were living in Lodz, a nice city from Poland. We were there sightseeing, knowing their culture...

One of the activities that impacted us a lot was going to Auschwitz. Lodz is more or less four hours to Krakov, and in the way we were all smiling, having fun, talking to each other, etc. At the moment we arrived it started raining, then we came in and everybody was quiet. During the visit we didn’t talk, we just stayed there trying to understand what happened there.

It was too cold, maybe four degrees, and we were freezing. After that, this image came into my mind: those people that had to be there without warm clothes, working very hard... It was horrible! We were in the coldest day in our stance in Poland, with warm clothes, and... What about them?

The tour took three hours more or less. We saw their rooms (if we could call it room) their baths, the poison gas rooms, etc. We were exactly in the same place where they suffered, it was terrifying. In the museum, they show us some pictures: one of them was about a woman that went there with sixty-five kilos and she died with forty-five. We saw their clothes, their backpack, and the women hair. Everything was real but incredible.

There was a moment in which all our polish friends were crying and it made us think about the effect it made in Polish people. I asked one of them after the visit and she told me: ‘’I believe that for everyone from Poland, Auschwitz is a special place. It reminds us of or gory history. Auschwitz is a great example that even nowadays people forget what humanity is. A lot of people- including women and young children suffered there from hunger or overworked. It is hard to express my feeling, misunderstanding to people who killed others only because of their extraction, human race and, what is the most important- greed for power.''

I encourage all of my readers to go there because is an experience you won’t never forget. It will be the best but also the worst day of your life. You could see it in films, people could tell you he story but when you really understand everything is when you go there and all their feelings go across you.

Starting

Good afternoon, 
That is my first time posting and I hope it would be the first of many other. I have lots of things to say: my travels, my experiences, what interest me, etc.
 I`m very excited with this project because some years ago I started writing in a blog about feelings, love, friends... and then I gave up. So, for me it is a great opportunity to start again with enthusiasm. I really feel like writing!
